Former San Antonio Spur Doug McDermott's house is now for sale

Former San Antonio Spurs small forward Doug McDermott, who was traded to the Indiana Pacers earlier this February, has listed his Terrell Hills home for $2.2 million.

The NBA player put the 4,800-square-foot Mediterranean-style home on the market earlier this week, an online sales listing shows. Although built in 2002, the residence appears older thanks to timeless interior features such as hardwood floors, arched doorways, an elegant staircase and a coffered ceiling in the game room.

Appropriately for a 6’7” hoops player, the dwelling boasts high ceilings and doorways, real estate broker Matthew Resnick told the Express-News when McDermott bought it back in 2022.

McDermott's not the only person of note to have occupied the four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath residence. Patrick Lyndon Nugent, the grandson of President Lyndon B. Johnson, and then-wife Nicole lived there from 2002 until 2016, according to real-estate news site The Real Deal.

This home is listed by Kathleen Tottenham with Kuper Sotheby's International Realty.
