June is a celebration of Pride for the queer community. Pride for how far the community has come; pride in pushing for equality and recognition. The Language of Pride Poetry Slam welcomes poets to come perform pieces centered on queerness and the heroics, hurts and heart that have created a celebration out of Pride.
