Where else in town can you watch a hot burlesque show, stand-up comedy performances, and micro-wrestling all in the same week? Roland Fuentes might be known for his skills as a local music promoter, but as the club owner at Nightrocker Live, which opened its doors in December 2009, he's put together a lineup of events and acts under one roof that would make even the freakiest variety nightclub in Las Vegas green with envy. This isn't even counting the series of DJs, rappers, and heavy metal bands he books on a consistent basis or the art gallery (R Gallery) he and artist Alex Rubio (below) set up in the venue for guests looking to toss back a tallboy and discuss abstract expressionism while listening to Boxcar Satan jam out to "Dominance and Submission." Only Fuentes could make that combination work.
