The Rolling Stones: "Doom and Gloom" (from 'GRRR!', out Nov. 13)

The Stones' post-millennial output hasn't been much to write home about, but "Doom and Gloom" is a solid single with a snarling, memorable Keith Richards guitar riff and a mighty rhythm section. Mick's lyrics and goofy swamp enunciation are a bit silly, but otherwise, "Doom" is a ray of sunshine.
