Little is known about El Comanche and Larry Mon, the mustachioed Guadalajara duo behind Los Master Plus. Better to just listen to their Sin Llorar EP (available for free at losmasterplus.com) or look at their videos.

“[Los Master Plus] is the young group that makes the tightest girls dance and the strictest nuns sing” is how they describe themselves on Facebook. Besides the humor and the image, with these guys it’s all about the music. They blend rap and a simple electric kind of cumbia that sounds like a norteño/Tejano ballad (think Intocable).

Their best so far: a remix of Kinky’s “Después del After” (available for free download on SoundCloud), in which they completely reinvent the song by effectively adding rap, salsa and EDM.
