Little Brave: 'Wild' EP

Photo: , License: N/A

"I want to be a bitch/ I want to live with all my heart/ I want to finish all I started/ then rip it all apart," sings Little Brave (Stephanie Briggs) in "Under Wings," the closing track of her follow up to Wound & Will (my favorite regional album of 2011). If W&W was Little Brave's heartbreak epic, this is her in love again and still in absolute songwriting control. Wild is the first of three EPs that will become an LP. If Wild is any indication, Little Brave's next full-length is going to be a killer.

★★★ ½ (out of 5 stars)
