Though we’re still waiting for the summer to expire with a respectable fall gust, consider this the meal that will warm you from the belly up. Mine arrived with all the poise and grace of the establishment’s illustrious setting, the pile of seasonal vegetables forming an exquisite pyramid of tender squash, carrots, peas, and potatoes atop a pool of steaming hot broth. Simple, savory, and a touch peppery. Conclude with a sinfully sweet and buttery hunk of baklava drizzled with a swirl of luscious caramel.
