With warm days starting to poke through our recent spate of cold rains, hankerings for something sweet and cold begin to overcome desires for warming fare. Rejoice that you live in San Antonio! Paletas from El Paraiso Original far surpass other cities' attempts to create this cold Mexican confection that is either ice cream bar or tropical popsicle. Of the 20 flavors, our creamy favorites are pecan, banana, and piña colada, while special tastes delight in icy mango and chile, lucas (chile pepper), and pickle.
