SWEET POTATO FRIES FROM CULLUM’S ATTABOY, $3.95
A bite of what we're eating here at the Current
Published: August 17, 2011
Sure, Attaboy slings burgers that are seemingly too good to come from an Airstream trailer. But have you tried their French fries? Attaboy owner/hypeman Chris Cullum has perfected the mobile fried potato — both the regular and sweet variety — using unique, high-end touches like sea salt and a mystery tempura-like coating (Cullum refuses to spill more details on his French-fry formula). The best part? These gourmet, five-star fries are served not on fine china, but in an unpretentious paper bag. The Airstream currently parks at Tucker’s Kozy Korner (1338 E Houston) for dinner and late-night eats, but follow Attaboy on Twitter (@attaboyburgers) and Facebook to get updates on where you can get your fry fix.
