Papouli's trumpets Med Diet with 'Eat Fit to Live'
Published: April 11, 2012
San Antonio isn't known nationally for its healthy living, but as a whole, the city is making strides toward improvement. Papouli's Greek Grill, the fast-casual Greek eatery, launched a new campaign called "Eat Fit to Live," geared to help Papouli's diners live healthier lives. Their Eat Fit to Live blog (eatfittolive.com) encourages families to eat together and get outside of the house for some exercise. I'd also suggest walking to Papouli's to eat and then walking home. It worked for Subway's Jared, right? Meanwhile, the San Antonio Healthy Restaurants Coalition Por Vida! campaign was recognized for its work promoting healthy hearts and stroke awareness, earning the Texas Council on CVD and Stroke's Outstanding Program Designation. Nice work.
Another hearty congrats: The Zagat 2012 Texas Restaurants Survey is out, and Las Canarias at La Mansion Del Rio won the prize for best décor in San Antonio.
