Industry News: New Food Truck Park and Homebrewing for Women

Photo: , License: N/A

Port San Antonio, housed in the former Kelly Air Force Base, is a crossroads of transportation and business on the West side. And now, it’s the home of a new food truck park at 3007 General Hudnell Drive, the address of a former bank. The park is open to any who want to grab lunch. You can see the schedule for food trucks at www.portsanantonio.us/food.

The San Antonio home brew scene is having a brewing seminar for women. The San Antonio Cerveceros is a community for homebrewers, and is sponsored by many local craft breweries and supporters, like Blue Star Brewery, Alamo Beer Company, and Boneshakers. On Saturday, April 6, the organization hosts All Girls Brew, a day seminar for women. The session will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Point Park & Eats, 24188 Boerne Stage Road. Men are welcome, but only if invited by women.
