Holiday cheer from here on

From 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. this Friday, November 30, get some midday holiday cheer at the Holiday Market at Travis Park (301 Travis Street). The annual City-sponsored event features holiday treats including nuts, chocolates, and cookies, along with a variety of gourmet foods and Yuletide craft gift ideas. The Market will reappear at Travis Park every Friday till Christmas.

RoMo's Café (7627 Culebra), a New American eatery on Culebra, closed after opening to many accolades last year. The restaurant had closed temporarily a couple months ago, but permanently closed in November. The owners haven't announced future plans yet, but, having been to RoMo's in the past, I'm hoping they choose to stay in San Antonio and keep on cooking.
