Easter Brunch deals on the make
Published: April 4, 2012
Sunday is Easter, and whether you observe the holiday or not, it's a great time to eat a decadent brunch. Whether you want the champagne brunch at Las Canarias, or a breakfast burger at the Lion and the Rose, there's something for everyone Sunday morning in San Antonio. Choice Easter specials this year are the jazz brunch at Lüke with lamb and Biga on the Banks' assortment of prime rib, lobster omelet, and eggs Benedict. If you'd prefer to stay in and avoid the crowds, do your grocery shopping early — H-E-B will be closed on Easter.
And congratulations to Bruce Auden, founder of Biga and Auden's Kitchen, on being named a finalist for the James Beard Foundation's Best Chef: Southwest award. This is Auden's seventh nomination and he's the only representative from San Antonio to make the list. The awards will be announced May 7.
