Thursday, Aug. 22: The staff at Sur La Table takes on “Jerusalem: A Cookbook” by Yotam Ottolenghi and co-author Sami Tamimi. Recipes span religions, countries and continents. Participants will learn how to whip up barley risotto with marinated feta, spiced lam and bulgur with lemon-Tahini dressing, mixed summer string bean salad and yogurt pudding with peaches. Friday, Aug. 23: Ain’t no party like a paella party at Central Market. But seriously, there’s a lot more to paella than just throwing a lot of yummy ingredients together. This hands-on class will cover Spanish appetizers, Valencia paella, chorizo and pork paella and seafood paella.
