Culinaria delivers something for everyone

The New World Wine and Food Festival, rechristened Culinaria a few years back, launches Wednesday, May 16, with Sip, Savor and Shop, a wine and food event at La Cantera. If you'd rather sit down to eat, Thursday's events are all dinners at restaurants around town, including Max's Wine Dive, Lüke, and Francesca's at the Westin La Cantera. There's also the first Culinaria food truck event to explore Thursday with wine and beer at H-E-B Alon Market. Over the weekend follows the Grand Tasting at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center and Burgers, BBQ and Beer at the Pearl. More info, prices, and ticket info is available at culinariasa.com.

If Culinaria is too fancy for your blood, the Point Park and Eats, a mobile food truck park on Boerne Stage Road, is having a crawfish boil on Saturday, May 19. Fat Bellies will be boiling the mudbugs, and Crepe Nation will be serving bananas foster for dessert. Dig in!
