Big Lou’s Pizza moving on to BBQ, burgers

Photo: , License: N/A

Big Lou’s is known for its giant pizzas, so big they were featured on the Food Network’s Man v. Food alongside Lulu’s Bakery’s cinnamon rolls and Chunky’s Burgers’ Four Horsemen burger in 2009. The restaurant is bringing that same attitude to Big Lou’s Burgers & BBQ opening Friday, October 28, next to Big Lou’s Pizza (2048 S WW White Rd). If you’re feeling like a challenge, Burgers & BBQ will be serving 14-inch burgers that could feed a party of Texans or a developing nation. If it’s ginormous enough, maybe Adam Rich will come back for a repeat visit.

The Bike Waiter (thebikewaiter.com), a lunch delivery service for the downtown and Southtown areas, first put tire to asphalt last month and they’ve been adding new restaurants ever since. Now they’re offering their delivery service to you. For an additional $5 you can have a sandwich delivered to your downtown office for lunch and then courier documents for you within an hour. That’s service.
