Satel's is channeling the spirit of Don Draper, the lead character on the TV show Mad Men. On Thursday, November 1, the men's clothing store at 5100 Broadway will host a "Mad Men Classic" with cocktails and appetizers from Bohanan's Restaurant. Local jazz pianist Anthony Bazzani will be tickling the ivories, and Bohanan's will be mixing classic cocktails like the Sidecar, Old Fashioned, and Cognac 75. If you've always wanted to try some of Bohanan's cocktails but never made it all the way downtown to get one, head to Satel's from 5 to 9 p.m.

Up the road the Little Aussie Bakery & Cafe, a gluten-free establishment at 3610 Avenue B, has expanded their reach to the H-E-B Plus at 281 and Evans. The store now carries a selection of Little Aussie Bakery's sandwich loaves, buns, cookies, and pizza crusts. A number of restaurants already use Little Aussie's breads and crusts, and they're also available at the H-E-B Alon Market at 1604 and Blanco.
