Shea Serrano, Spurs fan and writer
twitter.com/SheaSerrano

Much like his man-crush Kawhi Leonard, San Antonio native (though now Houston resident) Shea Serrano became a breakout star for media-obsessed Spurs fans during last season’s NBA Finals. The Highlands alum flexed his writing chops for ESPN’s Grantland and True Hoop blogs in often comedic musings celebrating his beloved Spurs. During San Antonio’s playoff run, Serrano copped to watching Spurs games on DVR after already following the outcome via cellphone score updates. Elsewhere, Serrano recently teamed up with Houston icon Bun-B to release Bun B’s Rap Coloring and Activity Book, and his unique blend of slice-of-life satire can be found anywhere from Texas Monthly to the Village Voice....

But, upon further review, this pick goes to every Spurs fan in Bexar County who endured the heartbreaking Game 6 and tortuous Game 7 of the Spurs vs. Heat finals in real time last year. Bring on the playoffs!
