Simultaneously elegant and down to earth, Chef Andrew Weissman's Sandbar takes the beachy oyster bar concept to a level of casual sophistication. From the light and tangy fish ceviche to the decadent pan-seared diver scallops and unbeatable key lime pie, everything is impossibly fresh and well worth a bit of a splurge. While serious seafoodies will likely be tempted by the $100 Sandbar Platter (a dozen oysters, a dozen shrimp, a half-pound of crab, and a sashimi platter), the menu also thoughtfully takes the fish-fearful into consideration with a to-die-for Mexican Burger ($10), substantial salads, even an echo of Weismann's decorated past in the form of the delectable Le Rêve Onion Tart ($8).
