Why is Chacho's once again the people's choice for Best Nachos? It's all right there in the name of its iconic, way-too-big-to-be-an-appetizer: Monster Kong. The "Monster" part seems to describe the enormous portions of beef, chicken, beans, and tortilla chips smothered in cheese, like some kind of delicious primordial creature made of pure cholesterol. But "Kong" recalls the intimidating but ultimately misunderstood ape of Skull Island. In other words, the Monster Kong Nachos are probably pretty unhealthy, but are definitely meant to be shared by a very large, very hungry tribe. Hail to the king (in moderation).
