Last month owner and namesake of Chris Madrid's passed away leaving behind a legacy of deliciousness. Known for his warm personality, Madrid took his restaurant from humble beginnings to a culinary institution with his signature Tostada, Flaming Jalapeño, and Cheddar Cheezy burgers. With a relaxed atmosphere and laid-back cantina to the side, Madrid's was no stranger to ours or any other Best Burger vote in the city. Rest assured his name will go on as the family continues to keep his restaurant and tradition running strong, providing his signature service and burgers alive for (we hope) many years to come.
