The first thing you see when you walk into the Best Lesbian Bar in SA is a sign that reads, "Welcome Home." And that's far from the only touch that makes Jill Gapinski's cavernous Bermuda Triangle feel cozy inside. While some lesbian bars go out of their way to make men (even the gay variety) feel like bastards at a family reunion, BT maintains an open door policy for everything from Karaoke Wednesdays (with no cover and $2.50 Coronas all night) and Toxic Thursdays to Sexy Saturdays and their legendary foam parties (the 11th annual blowout is set for Friday, July 6). While stepping into this perpetual Best of SA favorite isn't nearly as risky as taking a dip in the boat-eating body of water its named after, people have been known to disappear in here — hence the disclaimer on the answering machine: BT's is not responsible for lost or stolen lovers.
