It’s a good thing too, because Howard’s the first to admit her customers are “all over the board… from punky kids to their parents.” Howard happily accommodates requests, but she especially likes to help people step out of the box. “I’m happier doing hair color when people do something that really speaks to them personally,” she said, “not just doing what they feel like society expects.”
