Best Comedian or Comedy Group

1. The Denials
(210) 557-7562, facebook.com/theovertimedenials

The first and most important rule of improv is to always say ‘yes.’ To say ‘no’ in the world of improv comedy is to neuter the free flowing spirit of the performance and rob yourself and your fellow players of wacky times ahead. At the Overtime Theater, The Denials have cemented their tenure as house improv troupe by showing up week after week ready to say ‘yes.’ The troupe runs its permanent 10:30 p.m. Saturday night slot a la Whose Line is it Anyway, performing silly improv games for the audience while frequently recruiting audience members to join in on the fun. Just say ‘yes.’
