The last thing a sommelier wants to have said of their choice is that it "is just grocery store wine." But SA wine fanatics can blow that insult off if they've been shopping at Central Market on Broadway. Why is the selection so good? A look-see at the liquor store competition reveals a variety of liquor, but for the most part, poor beer choices and what appears to be a disdain for wine biblers. Seems like parent company H-E-B just took advantage of an opportunity. And, of course, here you can select from a mighty array of cheeses to go with that bottle of vino, too.
