I like to think that — if such a thing even exists — heaven probably looks a lot like the Alamo Drafthouse Park North. There's a long escalator that glides you up to the monolithic, glowing box office, where you can get tickets to anything showing on their six state-of-the-art screens (including special events, like the Avengers Marathon on May 3). In the lobby is a huge, handsome bar fully stocked with wine (Princess Bride-themed, of course) and dozens of craft beers on tap. While you wait for your film in cushy, spacious seats, you can combine dinner and a movie with pizza, burgers, or even fried pickles. But what's truly heavenly: Alamo's strict "no talking, no texting" policy ensures you can rest (and watch) in peace.
